The various Itasca County Land Use Ordinances have been established to guide growth and development in the County

Beginning in 1999, the County Comprehensive Plan will be in place to assist citizens in establishing and maintaining an understanding for the orderly management of growth for the County.

The Plan will also provide a combination of goals, policies, and actions that will be used in the decision making process.
