The various Itasca County Land Use Ordinances have been established to guide growth and development in the County. Effective July 1, 2000, the Itasca County Comprehensive Plan was adopted to assist citizens in establishing and maintaining an understanding for the orderly management of growth for the County. The Plan also provides a combination of goals, policies, and actions that will be used in the decision making process.
