In cooperation with Itasca County, BankServ's www.samedaypay.com, offers taxpayers the opportunity to pay taxes directly over the internet. This service is safe and reliable. You receive an email and confirmation number positively confirming that your payment has been made. Before processing your payment, BankServ, the credit card provider, charges a fee of 2.35% on the amount of the transaction. 
You don't have to worry about a tax payment that is delayed in the mail or even worse, never delivered. You receive an email and confirmation number positively confirming that your payment has been made on time. When you pay your property taxes online through BankServ's www.samedaypay.com, you request an electronic fund transfer via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system from your designated bank account on the date that you find most convenient. This service is offered for a $3.00 fee, which is charged and retained by SameDayPay.
Direct debit payment allows the taxpayer to have their property tax payment automatically paid from their bank account on May 15th and October 15th. The taxpayer must enroll by completing the Direct Debit (pdf) Authorization Form for each parcel they wish to enroll in the program. To enroll in the Direct Debit program the form must be received by the Itasca County Auditor-Treasurer's Office, 123 NE 4th St., Grand Rapids, MN 55744-2600 no later than 30 days prior to the payment due date. |
