Assistance Program... As a victim of crime, Minnesota Law provides you with specific rights. These rights apply to all cases including juvenile cases. Minnesota has a comprehensive Victim’s Rights Act located in Chapter 611A of Minnesota Statutes. The Itasca County Attorney’s Office Victim Assistance Program provides assistance, support, and referrals to crime victims, their families, and witnesses in criminal cases being prosecuted by the Itasca County Attorney’s Office. We will assist you with filing for restitution, which is any out of pocket expenses incurred due to the crime.
